Mexican night – Menu & Drinks

Appetizers: The main appetizers for you Mexican menu should be nachos and guacamole! Both very tasty, totally Mexican and a great appetizer choice to serve your guests, while drinking their margaritas and sangria. In addition you can prepare some quesadilla with a filling of your choice…

Main course: Well…easy path to follow here too folks! Some Mexican rice, some tortillas and tacos will be more than enough. With tortillas and tacos all you have to do is spread the fillings into different plates / bowls around the table and let your guests stuff their tacos and tortillas as they see fit! After all this is the actual Mexican “ritual” when serving these dishes! Plus it’s so much fun and everyone can choose what they want, according to their taste! Some tortillas and tacos stuffing suggestions could be… jarred salsa, onions, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream or cream cheese, beans, beef or chicken filling and of course guacamole!

Drinks: Margaritas and Sangria!!! What’s a Mexican night without margaritas or Sangria… well the answer is simple…”it’s not a Mexican night”. So please please please guys …do bother and make some margaritas or Sangria (you can easily find Sangria at your local liquor store) for your guests…they will be thrilled! Of course be prepared and have some soft drinks as well, for those who don’t drink alcohol, because once again, you think of everything and everybody…and that makes you THE perfect hostess!

Dessert: Mexican rice pudding Flan is a great choice for dessert and could not get any more Mexican! I will say it again and again though guys , if you don’t have the time or the energy to make it yourself … buy it from your favorite local pastry shop … and if it s difficult to find one that makes this tasty Mexican dessert … again…it s OK !!! You choose something light and creamy to serve…nobody will judge you… trust me!
