Theme colors: White and red, and in most cases in plaid or stripes, certainly reminds us of Italy!
Materials: A plaid red-white tablecloth (alternative you can use a one color tablecloth and use plaid or striped placemats, and that will do the trick!). A plaid red-white ribbon (you will need it for decoration purpose, for example…for your centerpiece vase, or for a bow on your guest gifts, or for tying dry spaghetti and use that as a centerpiece, as shown in the photos…I found this idea online and found it really cute, etc), red napkins, candles. Another cheap but very nice idea for decorating your living room, is to buy some decorative pillow cases (again in red-white plaid), and use them to dress your current pillows just for that night. You can very easily store them, and use them again in the future. But of course this is totally optional!
