Some words so you don’t freak out…

Hosting your boss…I know it’s sounds like hell to you, but really this doesn’t have to be the case. First of all we take for granted that you have a good relationship with your boss, and that is probably why you invited him over in the first place, so don’t feel like you need to act in a certain way. Second of all, your boss accepted the invite because he or she wants to be there, otherwise he or she would come up with an excuse, so just be yourself, trust me! On that note, keep in mind that you don’t have to reenact the “Biwitched” tv show, in order to be a perfect hostess and throw an amazing dinner. After all, “Samantha” was a character of the writer s imagination, which makes the whole idea UNREAL. Never the less, please, feel free to wiggle your nose and see if you can have everything prepare in minute or so…LOL!!! Seriously folks, no need for “Chandler’s laugh” (Friends series), no need to imitate Martha Steward either, the 60’s are gone a long time ago and you are probably a career person…in addition, you are a great hostess!!! Keep that in mind and everything will go smoothly.

Décor:
Theme colors: No need to change anything in your home. After all this isn’t exactly a theme night, it’s more of “special occasion” type of gathering. Just make sure your house is clean and tidy, and focus on your table setting. For your table setting colors I would propose, yellow-white, with a little bit of black or grey. It’s classy but cheerful at the same time.

Materials: A white tablecloth with grey or black placemats. A low vase (or basket) for centerpiece (check out this terrific ideas, I found online, with lemons in the vase), with yellow and white fresh flowers. Last but not least, as always…candles (tea lights)!

My work/doing: Below you can see a complete table setting idea of my one.

Name tags: For name tags I found these ideas below online, and I must tell you…I just loved them! I really think that with your yellow-white flowers centerpiece, will match perfectly and will complete your table setting.
